Born and raised in Hawai'i, Jennifer Fiedler is the author of The Essential Bar Book, which was featured in the New York Times and the Boston Globe, and co-author of the Wine & Cheese Board Deck and Lei Aloha. A graduate of the Institute of Culinary Education (formerly the French Culinary Institute), she has notched time in the fields on an organic farm, in kitchens as a professional cook, and behind the desk as a researcher and writer for books and magazines. She lives on the North Shore of O'ahu.
